Beer Label — Illustration & Packaging

A commissioned illustration and packaging project developed around the idea of creating a distinctive and playful visual for a beer label.

I started by building a moodboard to define the visual direction, exploring references for colour, texture, composition and illustration style. From there, I developed the main artwork as a vector illustration, keeping the design bold, graphic and suitable for application across a packaging format.

The final artwork was then applied to a beer can mockup to visualise how the illustration could work as a finished product.

Starting point

The brief was simple: create a label for SUDHAUS FUCHS, a Swiss beer made by a retired snowboarder with a laid-back, hipster personality.

I took these few elements as the starting point, exploring the intersection of Swiss alpine culture, snowboarding and a playful craft beer aesthetic.

A bold vector illustration translated into a playful beer can application, designed to bring the concept to life on packaging.
