how it started 〰️

the beginning

I started my career in fashion design before founding my own accessories brand, which I led for nearly a decade. During that time, I developed original collections, collaborated with other brands, and actively engaged with creative economy initiatives.

Before designing interfaces, I designed objects.

Years before working with digital products, I was creating and selling handcrafted accessories, exploring materials, storytelling, and visual identity.

After moving to Lisbon, I felt the need to expand my skill set and explore new ways of building. This led me to study web development in 2023.

In the same year, I joined Critical TechWorks, but I soon realized my attention was consistently gravitating toward the design team. I became deeply curious about the thinking behind design decisions, and that curiosity made my next step clear: it was time to transition, this time into a field that felt closer to where I truly belonged, design.

Working with AI

I’ve been exploring how AI can be integrated into digital experiences in a way that remains intuitive, transparent, and human-centered.
My experience includes working with tools such as OpenAI, Vercel, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity, both as creative support and as part of product exploration.
I also contributed to the course Design Patterns for Human-Centered AI Experiences, led by Christian Kuhn, where I supported the development of learning materials and designed interactive exercises in Miro.
This experience introduced me to the fundamentals of AI-driven interactions and agent-based systems and reinforced my interest in designing AI experiences that are understandable, usable, and aligned with real human needs.

I’m currently focused on refining my visual language and expanding my understanding of product, designing with awareness, more context, and more purpose.
